Mother's Day Tea Party

You are cordially invited to our "Mother's Day Tea" on Friday, May 6, 2011 from 2:45-3:15. We will be serving juice and cookies. All the boys and girls in kindergarten have been working hard on a project/surprise for Mother's day that they would like to give you during the celebration. We hope that you will be able to join us.

Pizza Party
Mr. Hoffman’s Class Pizza Party
On Wednesday, April 20, 2011 our class will be having our pizza party to celebrate getting a 98% class average on the Unit 7 Reading Test and a 96% class average on the Unit 8 Reading Test. Each student will have the opportunity to eat 2 slices of pizza, drink a juice, eat carrots and ranch, and have a cookie for dessert. We are only ordering enough pizza for the students in our class. We are not asking for parents for this event. If you do not want your son or daughter to participate please let me know and they can either bring a cold lunch or eat school lunch for that day.

Spring Picture Packet and Pizza Party
Today Spring pictures went home. Please take time to look at them and consider a purchase. Once you have had the opportunity to look at them please decide whether you would like to purchase the packet or not. If you would like to purchase them please send a check to school or a copy of the receipt if you purchase them online. If you decide you would not like to purchase the pictures please send the packets back to school. You can also purchase part of the packet and send the remaining photos you don't want back.
I am so proud of each and everyone of the students in my class! Our class average on the Unit 7 End of Unit Reading Test last Friday was a 98%. Due to their continued hard work to show my gratitude the students have earned a pizza party. Stayed tuned for details! :)

Wednesday and Friday
Today at school students can wear their favorite jersey for a dollar. On Friday students may wear a hat for a dollar. They may donate more if they like. Part of the money will go to a student in need and the rest will go to benefit the victims of the Earthquake and Tsunami in Japan.

Field Trip: Friday, March 25th
On Friday our class will join all other kindergarteners in the district for a special viewing of the play based on Leo Lionni's books: Swimmy, Frederick, and Inch by Inch. We are asking for no parent's during this field trip due to limited seating.
Keep a look out for a free child's coupon to the show on March 25th at 6:30p.m. at the Camplex.
